Description

The short-sleeved LÄSSIG UV shirt made of recycled polyester provides UV protection 60 and playful prints for carefree water fun. Combined with appropriate sun lotion and with the matching swim diaper or swim shorts from the LÄSSIG Splash & Fun collection, the swim outfit is complete.

The cute UV shirt is breathable and quick-drying, making it comfortable to wear in the water and on land. The flat seams and the extra soft and elastic fabric offer an ideal fit and are gentle on children's sensitive skin.

High-quality and durable materials ensure a long-lasting fit of the UV shirt and a look like on the first day. The robust fibers offer good resistance to chlorine and UV rays. After the outing, the shirt can be washed at 30 °C on the gentle cycle.

For each LÄSSIG UV shirt, used plastic was reused and spun into yarn. This is equivalent to 12 PET bottles per meter of the knitted fabric. By using recycled materials and innovative processes, and by not using animal components, LÄSSIG contributes to the circular economy and conserves the earth's resources.

The LÄSSIG UV shirt with a UV protection of UPF 60 has been tested according to UV STANDARD 801 (Hohenstein).


Instructions for appropriate use:
UV radiation leads to sunburn and skin damage if exposed for too long. This clothing protects only the covered area, other parts of the body exposed to natural UV radiation must be protected separately, e.g. by applying sunscreen and wearing other UV protective clothing. The actual protection time of the UV protective clothing depends on the skin condition of the child as well as the intensity of the sun radiation. The declared UV protection may be reduced by normal wear and tear as well as at the seams. Check the clothing regularly for damage and wear and replace if necessary. Any repair must be done professionally. The shelf life of the protective clothing - even without visible damage - is 6 years from the date of production.

Composition, care instructions, size, date of production and UV protection factor can be found on the sewn-in label in the article. Please store the article dry and protected from light. Wash out after each contact with chlorine and salt water. This is UV protective clothing (Category I PPE) that meets the essential health and safety requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/ 425, Annex II. The protective clothing meets the requirements of EN ISO 13688:2013, Protective clothing - General requirements. Material testing is carried out in accordance with UV Standard 801 (based on AS/ NZS 4399:2017).
