• Location Description: Carrots love a loose, deep, sandy soil that has not been freshly fertilized. Even moisture without waterlogging in a sunny, open position is ideal.
• Tips: Place the seed tapes in a 1 cm deep seed furrow, moisten well, cover with soil, press down and water well again. Never allow to dry out until germination. To ward off pests such as carrot flies, aphids and slugs, crop protection nets can be used.
