TASTING NOTE
Nose: Full, racy. A fine wood dust spreads over dried fruits (apricot, date). Its red fruit rancio (raspberry, red currant) is sumptuous and its spices (curry, star anise, cardamom) of great nobility of expression. Floral (honeysuckle, lime blossom), it keeps gaining in concentration. Dark chocolate, very ripe mangoes, roasted nuts come to the fore.
Mouth: greedy, unctuous. It gives the sensation of savoring a hot chocolate with a powdery and fleshy bitterness. The mid-palate is tense and exotic (mango, banana, roasted pineapple). Tropical plants and strong spices inexorably take possession of the palate.
Finish: long, full of character. Its bitters are reminiscent of Del Professore Chinato vermouth. As much to say that they are sublime of minty and spicy freshness. Its fruits are perfectly ripe, almost candied. There are dates, apricots and grapes browned by the sun. The retro olfaction oscillates between sherry and cocoa bean and the empty glass makes us savor a second sip of hot chocolate.
