Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition is a smooth Irish whiskey, triple distilled and matured in Eight Degrees Brewing Stout barrels. The nose delivers aromas of freshly cut hay, orchard fruit, green apples, pears with a touch of lime zest. On the palate, the initial sweet coating typical of Irish whiskey is joined by a subtle touch of hops and cocoa beans. A bit of marzipan and charred oak add complexity. The finish is long and sweet, with notes of milk chocolate and butterscotch.
