ITO KOUKI
ITO-Yarn has produced with the quality "KOUKI" a combination of ramie and silk. Ramie is a stalk fiber made from the bast of the Boehmeria plant. The fiber is fine, long-fibered and has a beautiful soft sheen. Ramie is also called the linen of the East. Even today with modern technology, the production process is very laborious and cannot be fully automated. By mixing ramie with silk, the yarn "KOUKI" achieves a high stability which prevents the knitted fabric from wearing out. ITO Kouki is a very nice summer yarn.
