Homematic IP Radiator thermostat

The Homematic IP radiator thermostat is part of the Homematic IP smart home system and actively helps to save energy. The smart controller replaces already existing radiator thermostats, whereby energy savings of up to 30% can be achieved.

The Homematic IP radiator thermostat can be easily mounted on existing valves with M30 thread (e.g. Heimeier) using a metal union nut, without interfering with the heating system. For holding systems of the manufacturer Danfoss suitable adapters are supplied. The power supply is provided by two AA batteries, which can supply energy for up to 2 years.

After setup, the desired room temperature can be set either directly on the radiator thermostat, via Homematic IP wall thermostat or via Homematic IP app. Up to three weekly profiles with a maximum of six heating phases per day can be defined at room level via the app. The system becomes really smart in combination with the Homematic IP window and door contact. If this registers an open window, the Homematic IP radiator thermostat automatically reduces the supply of hot water to the radiators. If the window is closed again, the radiator also resumes its work. This helps to save energy, increases living comfort and protects the environment. By creating weekly profiles, you can automate everyday life - for example, you come to a preheated bathroom in the morning, save valuable heating energy when you are absent, and enjoy your evening in the living room at the desired room temperature.

The Homematic IP radiator thermostat can, thanks to the particularly quiet drive, also be used in the children's room or bedroom without any problems. The built-in lime and frost protection automatic prevents calcification and freezing of the valve.

Tip: If several radiator thermostats are used in a room at the same time, they can be operated centrally via Homematic IP app or especially conveniently via Homematic IP wall thermostats.
