Prototype: Supplementary car for the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) RABe 501 "Giruno" high speed multiple unit. 1 middle car B (B11), 2nd class, with pantograph. 1 middle car C (B10), 2nd class. Matches the RABe 501 003 "San Gottardo" train number. Current operating condition 2022.

Model: The train has a 2-part supplementary carSet for extending the RABe 501 "Giruno" high speed multiple unit to an 11-car unit. The interior lighting with maintenance-free warm white LEDs is installed as standard. The interior lighting is supplied via the continuous electrical connection of the entire train and is only functional and digitally switchable in conjunction with the basic set. The pantograph on one center car can also only be raised and lowered separately in conjunction with the basic set via the decoder as a digital function. Both center cars are permanently coupled together. Scenery guide in the Jakobs bogies. This is a scale reproduction. Minimum radius of travel 360 mm. Length of the pair of cars 40.2 cm.

The 25810 basic set can be expanded to a prototypical 11-car unit with the 23281, 23282, and 23283 add-on car sets.
