The Belgian State Railways began operating new direct trains between Brussels and Rotterdam in December 2024. For this deployment, SNCB/NMBS rented from Alpha Trains, in addition to the existing locomotives, the locomotives 186 119-122 (formerly with the Dutch State Railways). They thus received the current SNCB/NMBS design.
