Prototype: Diesel locomotive BR 120 of the Deutsche Reichsbahn (DR), also known by the nickname „Taigatrommel“. Version with a Soviet-made muffler. In service in 1973. Fleet number 120 323-1.

Model: With digital decoder (mfx+) and extensive sound functions. A regulated high-power drive centrally mounted. Each bogie has two axles driven via Cardan shafts. Traction tires. Direction-dependent three-light Spitzensignal and 2 red taillights normally in operation, digitally switchable. Spitzensignal on locomotive side 2 and 1, each separately digitally switchable. If Spitzensignal on both locomotive sides is switched off, then both sides function of the double-A headlights. Cab lighting changes with direction of travel, digitally switchable. Engine room lighting digitally switchable. Lighting uses maintenance-free warm-white and red LEDs. Metal side-mounted grab irons. Front apron interchangeable with closed front aprons. Length over buffers approx. 20.2 cm.
