The 2014 Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru, made from 18 year young Chambertin vines, has an airy and refined bouquet of boysenberry and raspberry coulis, a hint of underbrush that can be felt on aeration. The 50% new wood is nicely knit on the palate, quite lush on the palate with plenty of roundness.
