The Raspberry is a fragile fruit, with subtle aromas. Because of its low sugar content, it must first go through a maceration phase in grape brandy.
After this maceration of one month at the rate of 16kg of fruit made per liter of alcohol, distilled in a traditional way in a small copper still. After this first distillation, raspberries are added to the brandy for a second distillation.
This brandy is then aged in stainless steel barrels for 2 years to keep the freshness of the fruit. At the end of these two years, reduced to 45° with spring water from the Vosges. This water, which runs through a subsoil of purple schist, is of great purity and gives it a singular strength.
This brandy with the characteristic perfume of raspberry has a lot of character. It should be drunk young to preserve the freshness of its delicate perfume.
Color : colorless.
Nose : perfumed, the fruit expresses itself with finesse.
Palate: fine, elegant and harmonious, its bouquet is generous, fruity and full-bodied at the same time. Fresh, the taste of red fruit remains slightly acidic in the mouth.
Finish: long, very supple, the notes of red fruits remain.
