Finlaggan Eilean Mor 46 Islay

On the nose, this whisky is fresh and sweet, marked by subtle fruit notes on a background of fat peat. When aired, it reveals a very nice sweetness with notes of dried fruits. In the mouth it is unctuous and oily, it evokes with precision sweet and salty notes (barley sugar, iodine). It develops on flowers, minty anise, spices and chocolate. It ends on an elegant final, it evolves on chocolate, coffee and citrus fruits. It continues, by retro-olfaction, on notes of fresh fruit.
