Bunnahabhain Fèis Ìle 2023 Canasta Cask Matured 51.2 Islay

This whisky has been aged entirely in rare William and Humbert Canasta sherry casks. These casks once contained a blend of Oloroso (75%) and Pedro Ximenez (25%) sherries. Using these Canasta casks to age the whisky offered the best of both worlds with layers of flavors; the Oloroso sherry is spicy, while the Pedro Ximenez is much sweeter.

This limited edition Bunnahabhain is unpeated and sherried, like all our whiskies, with no added color and no chill filtering.

Classic sherried nose; sweet, caramelized fruit, honey-roasted nuts, hints of cinnamon and clove with a hint of rancio. Maple syrup leads with creamy vanilla, dried figs, poached pears and a pinch of cocoa. A light touch of orange appears in the background.
