The patented Grip zone is non-slip and the ergonomic triangular shape guarantees fatigue-free writing. A water-based lacquer is used for the barrel. Faber-Castell was the first manufacturer to use this very environmentally friendly technology. The lead is fully bonded and therefore particularly break-resistant.
