With its predecessor, the Professionel, Eheim launched the first external filter series with a square footprint. Advantages: space-saving (the filter fits into corners), high stability and large filter volume. In addition, this solid base filter offers you special benefits: for example, a complete hose adapter unit with integrated shut-off valves, individually removable filter baskets with retractable handles, very low power consumption, particularly quiet operation thanks to ceramic components, and much more. eXperience is delivered fully equipped — including accessories and filter media. You can start right away. Square, practical, reliable, efficient and quiet, eXperience is the base model of our top external filter generation with a square footprint. Because of its shape the filter also fits into corners and takes up less space. At the same time it sits more securely and offers a larger filter volume. Instead of individual hose connections, eXperience features a complete hose adapter unit with 2 integrated shut-off valves. The adapter can be easily released with a lever (locking latch) and securely locked. The shut-off valves can be adjusted separately to determine the flow. The filter housing is equipped with convenient filter baskets. These have retractable handles and can be easily removed for filling or for partial cleaning. Eheim High Performance Ceramics, i.e., components made from high-performance ceramics (shafts and bearing sleeves of the impeller wheels), ensure extremely quiet operation, high durability and an exceptionally long service life. With only 8 W at a pump capacity of 700 l/h, eXperience operates very efficiently and uses little power. With its advantages, Professionel became the forerunner of an innovative series of highly complex high-tech external filters (Professionel 3 and 3e).
