WATERPROOF TO 30 BAR
The water resistance of a watch indicates the maximum depth and pressure at which it will continue to function. This model Certina has been tested to a spectacular 30 bar (300 meters), which is far superior to similar watches, many of which are only water resistant to 10 bar (100 meters), a threshold that has been surpassed by all Certina timepieces, thanks to the DS concept.

POWER RESERVE UP TO 80 HOURS
The power reserve is the amount of time a fully wound mechanical watch can run until it stops, usually between 38 and 42 hours. The Powermatic 80 caliber allows a power reserve of up to 80 hours! So you can go three days without wearing the watch and then set it again... if you can get by without it for that long.

SEA TURTLE CONSERVANCY PARTNER
Certina has been a proud partner of the Sea Turtle Conservancy (STC) since 2017. The Florida-based organization, which works to preserve sea turtles and their habitat, was founded in 1959 - the same year that saw the development of the ultra-rugged DS concept from Certina.
