I fell in love with the jewelry of Heng Lee, a young designer from Taiwan. His creations are pure marvels!

Heng Lee juxtaposes two worlds: that of digitalization and pixelization with that of traditional Chinese embroidery, to create highly contemporary and unique jewelry. For his creations, he takes images of nature downloaded from the Internet and reworks and pixelates them in Photoshop, hence the title of this series 'Download the Nature'. The pixelated grid of butterfly wings then serves as the basis for his embroidery with silk thread and glass beads.
