ME05 36-pack booster display: Nuit Noire (French)

When night falls, nightmares come to life. The Méga-Évolution – Nuit Noire expansion (ME05) is the fifth set in the Mega Evolution block of the Pokémon TCG, available on July 17, 2026. Placed under the banner of Dark, Ghost, and Fighting-type Pokémon, this series plunges Trainers into a dark and mysterious world, the bright opposite of Chaos Ascendant — a moody atmosphere served by some of the bloc's most spectacular illustrations.

Leading the lineup: Méga-Darkrai-ex, the legendary Nightmare Pokémon in its Mega form from the DLC Méga-Dimension of Pokémon Legends: Z-A. A card both formidable and terrifying: its signature attack Œil des Abysses instantly KOs the active opposing Pokémon if it is affected by a Special Condition (poison, burn, asleep, paralysis or confusion) — with no damage requirement. Its other attack, Raid Noctambule, deals 110 base damage, boosted to 220 if a benched Pokémon on the opponent's side already has damage counters. A card universally regarded as the absolute chase card of the expansion. Alongside it: Méga-Zeraora-ex, the Electric-type Pokémon with explosive style, Méga-Lugulabre-ex leading the Ghost block, and Méga-Minotaupe-ex, a pillar of the Fighting side.
