It was time for Crash Bandicoot – our dancing and jumping orange marsupial favorite – to return in a sequel to the original trilogy, namely Crash Bandicoot™ 4: It’s About Time, available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation® 4, PlayStation® 4 Pro, Xbox One and Xbox One X.

This is the first new Crash Bandicoot game in more than ten years, a platformer and adventure game as epic as it is burlesque, created entirely from scratch, and which aims to be a true successor to the original trilogy!

Yes, we’re not joking: Crash is back and it was about time... Or to be precise, our bandicoot and his friends are back to protect the space-time continuum across the entire multiverse!

On October 2, 2020, meet Crash, Coco and their friends for a space-time adventure to prevent Neo Cortex, Dr. N. Tropy and other evil forces from seizing not only the world, but the entire multiverse.

The perfect model for the modern major marsupial

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is the first truly new Crash game in more than ten years, and it is the direct sequel to the original trilogy created over 20 years ago.

The gameplay experience at the heart of the Crash Bandicoot games – fast-paced 3D platformers filled with humor, starring our rebellious marsupial – has been faithfully preserved, but it introduces many new features: an updated and polished graphic style, new gameplay mechanics and new abilities, such as the ability to play in Retro or Modern mode. All these novelties will allow longtime fans as well as newcomers to fully enjoy Crash’s new adventure!

You can see it in the trailer and the game’s screenshots. Visually, Toys for Bob revisits Crash, his friends, his enemies and all the environments that surround them. While staying true to the series’ rebellious spirit, these new graphics will let you discover new worlds and landscapes, a large number of new enemies and hazards, in a style closer to modern gaming experiences.

Face off against your adversaries: the Quantum Masks

Crash and Coco are as nimble and explosive as ever, and don’t think they’ve been standing there doing nothing with their (almost) ten fingers.

Discover in Crash Bandicoot 4 the Quantum Masks: four powerful guardians of time and space, which give our heroes the power to bend the rules of reality and overcome dangerous obstacles in very creative ways.

On the four masks, you will discover two in the trailer: Kupuna-Wa (the Time Mask) which allows slowing time for more precise moves, and Ika Ika (the Gravity Mask) which allows reversing the world and the laws of physics!

Spiritual expansion: control Neo Cortex!

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be the villain, always fighting against a Bandicoot in the name of dubious science? You’ll have the opportunity to find out!

To save the multiverse, you’ll be able to tackle the game’s many challenges by playing not only as Crash and Coco, but also as new playable characters, including the crafty Neo Cortex, which will let you discover other viewpoints on how our bandicoots save the world, one dance move at a time.
