Carbonit EM Premium-D filter cartridge

• Combines the advantages of the confirmed NFP Premium D-9 filter cartridge with an additional vitalizing component:
  • The Contaminant retention rate is nearly equivalent to the NFP Premium D-9 cartridge: High adsorptive retention rate for heavy metals (e.g. lead and copper), pesticides, medical residues and chlorine. It furthermore provides a very high protection against bacteria. (See characteristics)
  • With the improved maximum flow rate, also optimal for using water whirlers.
  • "EM-ceramic powder sintering": Manufacturing of the EM-ceramic is based on a specially fired clay. It contains organic material from ancient plants, that provides food for the effective microorganisms® during a fermentation process that lasts several months. EM-ceramic provides among others a reduction of the surface tension of the water and reduces the cluster structure size.
• Vitally important minerals, like magnesium and calcium, are not removed from the water.
• The filter cartridge consists of an activated carbon mono-bloc (Monoblock®) material based on coconut shell.
• Filter mesh: 0.70 µm; flow rate: 3.5 l/min (at 4 bar).
• Filter capacity: ca. 11,000 litres of water.

Operation notes

• For hygienic reasons, we recommend replacement of the cartridges every 6 months (according to DIN 1988).
• Do not miss any cartridge replacement, apply for our non-binding and free of charge filter subscription service.
• Because of the low flow rate, we recommend to only use the cartridge with a separate tap or a three-way sink tap.
• Using a DUO-HP basic (parallel) filter unit, allows filtration of the entire cold water flow.
• Only to be used with cold water and must be protected against freezing.
