Robust and weatherproof to IPX6 standard

Thanks to its ergonomic rubber armor, the binoculars sit securely in your hand and are well protected against bumps. They are also waterproof and nitrogen-filled, so the lenses won’t fog up from the inside even in adverse weather conditions.

Lightweight with tripod mount

The modern, robust magnesium housing weighs about 35% less than aluminum, making the marine and astro binoculars very light. Because of this light weight and the moderate 10x magnification, it is well suited for handheld use. A tripod mount thread on the central axis is still present. This allows you to mount the ASTRO & MARINE securely on a photo tripod using the included tripod adapter (Art.4914925). This is not strictly necessary with a 10x magnification, but is highly recommended for long-term astronomical observations to obtain an absolutely calm image.

Eyepieces for comfortable viewing

With the precise single-ocular adjustment, you only need to focus once to keep all objects in the night sky or on the horizon clearly visible. Another benefit of this design: the focus cannot be easily accidentally adjusted. Flip-up rubber eyecups and eyepieces with a comfortable 20 mm pupil distance also allow glasses wearers to use the full field of view.

High-quality optics

Thanks to the fully multi-coated Bak-4 optics, the large 50 mm objective diameter and the well-corrected eyepieces with 5 lenses in 3 groups, this bright binocular delivers edge-to-edge sharp and brilliant images. The diaphragms and internal housing blackening achieve maximum reduction of stray light. This gives you the best possible optical rendering and perfect visibility even under difficult lighting conditions.
