BLAUFRÄNKISCH RIED RABENKROPF

Wine Description: Graphite and smoky notes, the tannins rounded to the finest, has pressure and traction and long finish. A lot of elegance and balance - great red wine with storage potential.
Site: Rabenkropf: A pure southern site, which is ideally suited by its special microclimate and the mineral soil to create characterful and long-lived red wines.
Soil: loamy slate, shell limestone
Vinification: The grapes were harvested very selectively by hand. After the traditional maceration at about 30°C, the malolactic fermentation took place. It was then aged for almost two years in new barrique barrels to bring out all the complexity of the Rabenkropf site. A very mineral Blaufränkisch with great storage potential.
