The 400 Superamerica, produced in two series between 1960 and 1964, was one of the flagship models developed on customer demand. A large 4-liter V12 engine with plenty of power and high torque, a simple but luxurious interior, a tight suspension that did not compromise on comfort, and a transmission with overdrive. Bodywork was designed by Pininfarina and included spider, convertible and aerodynamic coupe versions, as well as the famous Superfast one-offs: II, III and IV.
