BBC micro:bit Micro:bit V2.2 (MEFV2S)

The BBC micro:bit is a pocket-sized programmable computer. The micro:bit is able to recognize movements, has a built-in compass, an LED display and Bluetooth.

The circuit board measures only 4 x 5 cm and is available in a variety of colors. The whole system is designed to be relatively easy and fun to develop. Even without prior knowledge, the micro:bit can be programmed in seconds, e.g. to switch on an LED or display a pattern.

Other devices, sensors, sets and objects can also be connected to the micro:bit. The system is a companion for Arduino, Galileo, Kano, littleBits and Raspberry Pi - it serves as a stepping stone to more complex learning units.

Each micro:bit can be programmed with a simple software, which is available on the official website(http://microbit.org/de/code/).
