Anglers Republic Subream 40F - Green Black - RB MG - 39

The Subream is a small insect lure for the stream that perfectly imitates a stonefly, for example. It was developed by the Japanese fly fisherman Mitsuaki Wada for spin fishing with fly or insect imitations. The lure therefore has a rather subtle action without strong wobbling.

After casting, the lure floats on the surface in a horizontal slant like an insect that has fallen into the water, whereby it stands at right angles to the direction of flow in a light current. If the angler now strikes gently into the slack line, the subream turns 45° in the direction of the rod tip and then swings out again, trembling.

When pulled, the lure swims directly under the water surface, emitting fine vibrations through its only slightly wiggling rear end.
