The first top wine to leave the HILLINGER winery was named HILL 1. The cuvée of Merlot, Blaufränkisch and Zweigelt appears in the glass garnet red with brick-colored rim. A variety of aromas speak from the nose: dark fruits, black currant, cherries and blueberries, surrounded by a delicate balsamic and black tea note, giving the wine an earthy aroma. These earthy aromas continue on the palate, where the wine presents itself dry, with a pleasantly supportive acidity and full-bodied tannins. Tea as well as balsamic aromas are also evident on the palate, along with the fruit tones of currant. The long finish maintains perfect balance. Contains sulfites.
