Homematic IP Switching socket

The Homematic IP switchable socket is part of the Homematic IP smart home system and enables the flexible switching of electrical appliances remotely. For commissioning, the switching socket simply needs to be plugged into a socket and added to the Homematic IP system. The compact adapter plug can be used to control an electric heater as well as to switch another electrical consumer such as a floor lamp. If the consumer is to be switched on or off directly on site, this can be done using the integrated pushbutton on the front of the switch socket.

Within the Homematic IP room climate solution, the switching socket works perfectly with the Homematic IP wall thermostat. So if an electric heater is used, the switchable socket can be used to precisely control the room temperature.

Despite the high switching capacity of up to 3680 watts, the compact intermediate plug does not block any surrounding sockets. Thanks to the low standby power consumption of less than 0.3 watts, the adapter plug can remain in the socket without hesitation.
