Finca Himalaya is a picture-postcard plantation nestled high on the slopes of a volcan. Its owner, Mauricio Salaverria, a 5th-generation grower, is a virtuoso perfectionist: planting under shade in parcels, drying on mats, custom preparation and mastery of the 4 treatment-preparation methods: natural, pulped, washed and anaerobic.

Tasting notes

Himalaya Bourbon rouge is a full-bodied, round coffee from El Salvador, recommended for espresso lovers.

Nose: notes of chocolate and candied red fruit.

On the palate: notes of pastry chocolate, stewed red fruit, dried apricot and maple syrup.

The cup is round and full-bodied.
