What age are the Little Friends for?
The Little and Big Friends from Affenzahn differ in size, weight and subdivision. The "Little Friends" series from Affenzahn is perfect for children between 1 and 3 years old. With a capacity of about 4 liters, everything fits in that is important for the start of kindergarten: from the lunch box to the favorite cuddly toy! For older and bigger children who also go on more frequent outings, we recommend the "Big Friends". They offer about twice as much space and additional pockets - the Big Friends are suitable for children from the age of 4.

What is the best way to clean the Little Friend from Affenzahn?
The materials used for Affenzahn children's backpacks are water and dirt repellent. If dirt does get stuck, the children's backpacks are easy to clean. The products can be cleaned with warm water at 40°C without any worries. However, it is recommended to take the term "hand wash" literally and to clean the Affenzahn backpacks in a wash bowl (or under the shower) with a sponge and a mild detergent only on the soiled areas. Washing in a washing machine is not recommended. Since the materials have a water column of at least 1500 mm and are therefore highly water repellent, the water cannot penetrate the fabric, but merely flows past it.

Which materials are used for the Little Friend?
Affenahn uses fabrics that consist of 50% recycled PET bottles. Three PET bottles are used for the Little Friend. Affenzahn uses bluesign® certified fabrics. This ensures that harmful chemicals are avoided throughout the entire production process.
