Goat bone meal

Goat bone meal is a valuable addition to the BARF diet for allergic or sensitive dogs.
Especially if bones are not tolerated or are not fed for other reasons, bone meal is a natural way of ensuring that the animal's calcium and other mineral requirements are met. When feeding with the usual recommended amounts of alternating bones or when feeding with complete feed, a supplementary calcium supply is not usually necessary and should therefore only be given after appropriate calculation.

Feeding recommendation:
The addition of bone meal should be tailored to the individual requirements and the respective feed.
In particular, all feed components containing calcium must be taken into account here.

Dogs: General daily requirement 50 - 100 mg calcium per kilogram body weight
Cats: General daily requirement approx. 80 mg calcium per kilogram body weight

For growing, pregnant or lactating animals, the requirement increases up to twice as much.

1 level measuring spoon = approx. 5g = approx. 1075 mg calcium

Occasionally larger pieces may be included. We recommend adding the bone meal to the feed in such a way that these can be recognized and sorted out.
