The Super PE 8 Braid is a braided line from 8 individual polyethylene fibers, from the house Sunline. Due to the very high roundness, this braided line lies very well on the reel, has a smooth, very smooth surface structure for reduced friction in the rings and is therefore very quiet. Despite the smooth surface, the cord has an extremely high knot strength.

Sunline Super PE 8 Braid is a braided fishing line specially developed for the European market and its demands. It represents the brand new addition to the Super PE, which is very popular all over the world.

In the manufacturing process, 8 high-quality polyethylene raw fibers are braided together in a braiding process optimized for the best possible roundness. As usual from Sunline, this braided fishing line does not flatten in later use and remains pleasantly round. A high strength achieved by the braiding process, among other things, ensures that the angler can mess with large pike and walleye without any problems, even with thinner diameters selected. This line carries what the load capacity specifications promise.

The Super PE 8 Braid has a supple and smooth surface structure. Due to the very high roundness, the line lies well on the reel without cutting into the lower layers.

The fishing line also has a very thin coating, which further reduces friction in the rod rings. Because the line is already inherently very smooth and round due to the use of very high quality raw materials and the complex manufacturing processes, the coating is accordingly very thin. In addition to the improved surface, the coating also makes the braided line somewhat stiffer. The increased stiffness is a big advantage when casting with the Baitcaster, because a stiffer line tends to stand up less. Also on very windy days, the increased stiffness is a big advantage, because the line can not wrap around the rings so quickly when casting.

In addition to reduced friction in the rings, the round and smooth line surface ensures that the fishing line generates measurably less attention underwater. A smooth line generates less noise and also the side line organs of the fish can locate a smooth line only very poorly.
