NEW Saltimate Cast Away PE is a hybrid line designed for fishing sea bass, sea trout and other species that are very difficult to reach from the shore. With it you can reach enormous casting distances. Perfect also for the Baitcaster and in the new version even more abrasion resistant and quieter.

In the development of the New Saltimate Cast Away, the feature "maximum casting distance" was just as much in the foreground as in the previous model. To achieve this goal, Sunline has gone completely new ways and has used two fundamentally different types of fishing line, thus combining the best features of both lines. In this hybrid fishing line, four monofilaments and four PE fibers are braided together. Since monofilament fishing line is known to be very smooth and therefore provides little friction, the braiding process has been optimized so that as much of the surface as possible consists of monofilament line.

In the NEW Saltimate Cast Away Sunline relies on a new mono. Compared to the monofilament fibers used in the previous Cast Away version, these are more abrasion resistant and smoother. The NEW Saltimate Cast Away is thereby again somewhat quieter and more resistant to stones and other structures under water.

The good casting properties of this braided fishing line are not the only noteworthy features that have arisen from this cross.

• Higher stiffness than ordinary braided fishing line minimizes tangles with the rod rings, which often occur in windy conditions. This property also makes Cast Away excellent on the baitcaster, as a stiff line sets up less quickly.
• The line is significantly more abrasion resistant and durable than normal braided line. In the New Saltimate Cast Away, this property has been improved again.
• Due to a low stretch, even the slightest rod movement is transferred to the bait.
• On the other hand, every little tug on the bait is also directly transmitted to the blank of the rod.
• A surface coating, in the New Saltimate Cast Away with three special resins, makes the surface of the line even smoother, thus ensuring less friction and ultimately better casting distances.
• Due to the monofilament fibers, the Sunline NEW Saltimate Cast Away also forgives the one or other slip with the Baitcaster without tearing.
