Status Quo Gourmet Espresso

The Status Quo is a 100% Arabica blend that we can also recommend for espresso. The powerful, harmonious composition consists of a top Ethiopian coffee (direct import, cooperative Cueillete) with fine floral, floral nuances, an Indian top Arabica with spicy, chocolaty hints and full body (direct import, Craigmore Estate) and one of the best highland Arabicas from South America.

The Status Quo also shows its full quality in the long cup of coffee. A balanced coffee with a long-lasting flavor and an unforgettable body. These characteristics complement each other with a perfect cinnamon colored crema. This blend gets its special, slightly lemony, floral flavor from the particularly gentle roasting process.

We give our coffees about 18-22 minutes to develop perfectly at low temperature in the roaster. One of the results is this really great composition.

We roast only the highest quality green coffees according to our proven concept: The still green coffee beans are roasted at low temperature in a drum roaster. This allows them to freely develop their individual aromas during the long-term roasting process - the best basis for a special kind of enjoyment experience.
