The origin of this above-average Sencha quality lies in the prefecture of Kagoshima, which offers optimal conditions for the cultivation of tea due to its subtropical climate and the volcanic soil of the volcano "Sakurajima", which is widespread there. According to Japanese tradition, the finer parts of the leaves are not sifted out during production. This enhances the aromatic richness in combination with the green-grassy notes. Preparation recommendation:
We recommend 1-2 teaspoons (2.5 - 6 gr.) to prepare 300 ml of tea. Sencha Uchiyama also tolerates higher temperatures. We recommend 90 - 100° C hot water.
