Plaisir Organic loose tea Darjeeling Ambootia (Black tea)

After the establishment of the garden in 1861, Ambootia developed over the following decades to become a force to be reckoned with in Darjeeling. In 1987, after the takeover and reorganization as well as modernization by the present owners, the leap to a first category garden was made, where organic tea has been cultivated for over 20 years. The base area of Ambootia Tea Estates covers almost 1,000 hectares, of which more than 350 hectares are under tea. Ambootia figuratively means "place of mango trees".

Preparation recommendation:
We recommend 1-2 teaspoons (2.5 - 6 gr.) to prepare 300 ml of tea. Darjeeling Ambootia can also tolerate higher temperatures. We recommend 90 - 100° C hot water.
