Espresso Originale 50% Arabica / 50% Canephora

The new Espresso Originale is our latest and most powerful espresso Blend. This espresso has been specially created for all lovers of powerful Italian espressos and guarantees original southern Italian espresso enjoyment - a rich crema and a full flavor. You will look in vain for fruity nuances in this espresso Blend - the main notes are dark chocolate, roasted notes and tobacco.

We recommend the Espresso Originale especially for the portafilter (espresso machine) or the fully automatic machine. It also makes a great long cup.

Preparation, recommendation:

We recommend dosing our Espresso Originale as a single shot with around 8.3 - maximum 9.8 g per shot. For a double shot, it can be a little less per cup. Here you can manage with around 13.6 - 14.7 g (i.e. 6.8 - 7.4 g / cup). With 25 - 35 ml, you can achieve an exceptionally powerful and complex espresso with a nut-brown, thick crema. A real treat!

Our unique project coffees come from countries such as India, Brazil, Colombia, El Salvador and Ethiopia. We trade our green coffee from these and other countries without any middlemen and pay fair prices to the families who cultivate the plantations (around 2 - 3 times the current world market price). The result is that the families can make a living from growing the coffee. The overall quality also increases as the farmers are able to invest in the structure of the farms. This results in very special coffees with character and background.

We have been roasting selected coffees in our own roastery since 1999. There we ensure the best freshness and quality - always with the aim of fulfilling your wishes. With exquisite coffees from all over the world, we turn your coffee enjoyment into a very special experience. We roast only the highest quality green coffees according to our tried and tested concept: the green coffee beans are roasted at a low temperature in a drum roaster. This allows them to freely develop their individual aromas during the long-term roasting process - the best basis for a very special taste experience.

Traditionally roasted
All coffees at Mondo del Caffè are traditionally refined using the drum roasting process. This process makes the coffee particularly aromatic, easy on the stomach and digestible. We roast our coffees at a maximum temperature of 220° for around 18 - 22 minutes. The coffee is cooled with air and not water. For perfect, intense and aromatic enjoyment!
