In the heart of El Salvador, an exceptional top quality coffee is produced on a farm called Ayutepeque, near Santa Ana, on the slopes of the Santa Ana volcano, also called Ilamatepec (in Nahuatl, the Aztec language). The farm has 85 hectares and is located just below El Manzano, at an altitude of 1000 to 1150 meters, on volcanic soil.
Together with the neighboring farms, it is Mr. Cuatro M who is the producer, processor and exporter of this coffee. Since 2001 the farm is managed by Emilio Lopez. Like Cuatro M, he has a long experience and history in coffee. Emilio is the sixth generation of coffee farmers in his family. Emilio's main goal in taking over the management of the family farm was to create a new and unique coffee business in El Salvador.
In 2005, Emilio and his team started up the processing plant, the Beneficio on the farm: El Manzano Today, this gives him one of the best production facilities in Central America and allows him to prepare his coffees through different processing routes and processes, always with the goal of achieving perfection

.Our coffee "San Jorge" (name of the municipality where the farm is located) is a blend of Pacas & Bourbon. Also due to not being at an extreme altitude, more of an average altitude, this coffee is ideal as a base for espresso. The Pacas brings a subtle acidity and the Bourbon, sweetness and chocolate.
They complement each other perfectly. A very good espresso with fine fruit. As a café cream and filter coffee also very balanced and balanced. A multi-faceted cup of coffee with a full-bodied profile. For us, one of the best we have ever known from El Salvador!

Since 1999 we have been roasting selected coffees in our own roastery. There we ensure the best freshness and quality - always with the goal in mind to fulfill your wishes. With exquisite coffees from different countries of the world, we make your coffee enjoyment a very special experience. We roast only the highest quality green coffees according to our proven concept: The still green coffee beans are roasted at low temperature in a drum roaster. This allows them to freely develop their individual aromas during the long-term roasting process - the best basis for a special kind of enjoyment experience.
Traditionally roasted
All coffees at Mondo del Caffè are traditionally refined using the
drum roasting process.This process makes the coffee particularly aromatic, easy on the stomach and digestible. We roast our coffees at a maximum of 220° for about 18 - 22 minutes. The coffee is cooled with air and not with water. For a perfect, intense and aromatic pleasure!
